The Three Score Troubadour is the creative home for original music, art, design, storytelling, and a growing collection of independent projects.
At its center is a simple idea: curiosity should never have an expiration date.
This is a place for making things, learning things, rediscovering forgotten things, and occasionally wondering why nobody thought to put that particular thing on a T-shirt.
Music remains at the heart of the Troubadour. Original songs and recordings share the stage with visual art, historical research, product design, educational ideas, and other creative experiments. Some projects begin with an old illustration. Others begin with a song, an invention, a joke, a photograph, a forgotten advertisement, or something discovered while wandering down an unexpected historical rabbit hole.
The result is an evolving creative workshop rather than a single-purpose website.
Troubadour Treasures
Troubadour Treasures transforms history, art, science, nature, craftsmanship, music, and curiosity into things you can wear, use, display, and give.
The collection draws inspiration from museum archives, botanical studies, natural-history illustrations, patents, architectural drawings, vintage advertising, maps, field guides, historic ephemera, and other remarkable fragments of our shared past.
The Curator’s Cabinet organizes these discoveries into themed collections ranging from Celestial and American Legacy to Botanical, Nature Studies, Engineering & Innovation, Mercantile Memories, Music & Craft, Architectural Archive, and Reachable Teachables.
Some pieces preserve the character of their historical sources. Others reinterpret them. And occasionally an artifact that has survived for a century or two finally gets the bad joke it has apparently been waiting for.
The objective is not simply to make merchandise. It is to create interesting objects with stories behind them.
More Than One Road
The Three Score Troubadour continues to expand beyond any single collection or medium.
Projects such as Tourist Tuxedo explore entirely different territory, while original music can grow into artwork, products, stories, videos, and other creative work.
These projects may look different, but they share the same philosophy:
Make interesting things. Preserve interesting things. Learn something along the way.
Independent by Design
The work presented here is independently developed and continually evolving. Products are produced on demand, allowing new ideas to become available without maintaining large inventories or manufacturing unnecessary stock.
Buying directly through this website supports that independent creative process and helps fund the next song, illustration, historical discovery, strange experiment, and idea that probably seemed perfectly reasonable at the time.
